Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To efficiently mix metallic fine pieces by forming good eddy stream in a mixing device for mixing the metallic fine pieces into molten metal. CONSTITUTION:At the lower center position of the mixing vessel 7 for molten metal 17, a molten metal discharging hole 9 is formed so as to develop the small eddy stream 10 to a part of the molten metal 17 in the mixing vessel 7. At the upper position of the mixing vessel 7, a charging hole 12 for the metallic fine pieces 11 is formed so as to charge the metallic fine pieces 11 at the center part of the eddy stream 10. In the upper part of the mixing vessel 7, the molten metal supplying hole 13 for supplying the molten metal 17 on the molten metal surface 18 where the eddy stream 10 does not exist is provided.
