Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the subject resin excellent in the resistance to moisture and heat by reacting a specific diepoxy resin with tetrabromobisphenol A. CONSTITUTION:A diepoxy resin of the formula (wherein R is 1-4C alkyl; (m) is 0-10; and (n) is 0-3) is mixed with tetrabromobiaphenol A and, if necessary, a bisphenol A epoxy resin or bisphenol A. The resulting mixture is reacted in the presence of a catalyst (e.g. tetramethylammonium chloride, tetraethylammonium chloride, or benzylamine) pref. at 140-180 deg.C for 2-4hr, giving the target brominated resin.
