PAPER FEEDING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent multiple paper sheet feeding and non-feeding without increase in weight of the whole device. CONSTITUTION:Paper sheet 11 are loaded and a pushingly pressing piece 24 is provided on the loaded paper sheets 11, and a rotating lever 26 which is rotated in an integrated manner is provided to the pushingly pressing piece 24. A tensile spring 28 is extended over the rotating lever 26 in the direction where the angle between the rotating lever 26 and the tensile spring 28 becomes larger gradually as the amount of the loaded paper sheets 11 becomes smaller, and the spring is energized, giving a rotational moment to the pushingly pressing piece 24 around a supporting shaft 23. The loaded paper sheets 11 are pushingly pressed by the pushingly pressing piece 24, and the lowest loaded paper sheet 11 is brought into contact with a paper feed roller. This arrangement allows the paper feed roller to be rotated, and the loaded paper sheets 11 to be fed successively from the lowest paper sheet 11, and the pushingly pressing force of the pushingly pressing piece 24 to be gradually weaker as the amount of the loaded paper sheets 11 becomes smaller.
