REAR PART STRUCTURE OF AUTOMOBILE CAR BODY

PURPOSE:To increase the rigidity in the lateral direction of a suspension tower without narrowing the space in the upper part of floor panel and suppress the deformation of the suspension tower to the lateral force. CONSTITUTION:As for the rear part structure of an automobile body, a floor panel 12 is supported by a rear floor side member 10 which is arranged on each side part in the lateral direction of a car body and extends in the longitudinal direction of a car body, and a suspension tower 30 is arranged on each side part in the lateral direction of the floor panel, and a cross member 32 is laid on the rear floor side member on one side part from the rear floor side member to the rear floor side member on the other side part. The suspension tower 30 has an extension part 35 which extends downward, getting over the floor panel, and the cross member 32 has a reinforcement part 39 which extends outward in the lateral direction, getting over each rear floor side member, and is joined with the extension part 35 of the suspension tower.
