ROLLING STOCK

PURPOSE:To obtain a rolling stock structure having sufficient strength with inexpensive constitution, by installing a plurality of pillars for supporting a bench arranged along the longitudinal direction of a rolling stock, on a side block, and fixing the inside of the rolling stock on a floor block at the lower edge of the pillar. CONSTITUTION:The side block 20 of a rolling stock has an outer plate 21 installed along the longitudinal direction of the rolling stock, and at the lower edge of the outer plate 21, a longitudinal beam 22 is arranged along the longitudinal direction on the rolling stock. In this case, a plurality of stays 23 are arranged on the side block 20, keeping a prescribed interval, and the upper side 22a of the longitudinal beam 22 is spot-welded on the vertical surface of each pillar 23, and the lower piece 22c of the longitudinal beam 22 is welded on the outer plate 21. Further, on the side surface of the stay 23 at the position where the cradle 51 of a bench 50 is fixed on the side block 20, an assisting pillar 24 having a channel shaped sectional surface is installed through welding, and a plurality of horizontal members 25 and 26 are laid between the assisting pillars 24 and 24. On each assisting pillar 24, holes 30a-30d for suspending the bench 50 are formed, and the bench 50 is supporting-fixed by the engagement of the hooking metal fitting 52 on the reverse surface of the bench 50.
