Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve the properties of an oil-impregnated capacitor wherein a metallized polypropylene film is a dielectric layer. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor element, wherein the dielectric layer is a metallized polypropylene film where a roughened biaxial oriented film consisting of the copolymer of polypropylene and a nonconjugate diene compound is crosslinked by application of an electron beam, and the crosslinked film is metallized, is impregnated with benzil toluene insulating oil. Hereby, the partial discharge start voltage property, the stability of capacitance, and the dielectric loss property can be improved.
