Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To measure the latitude and the longitude of a place which is located at a position higher than the ground such as an aircraft. CONSTITUTION:An interogating radio wave is transmitted from a VHF antenna 31 of an airborne equipment 30 of an aircraft or the like, and the position data of the place are sent back from a plurality of ground apparatus 10. The distance from the respective ground apparatus 10 and the airborne equipment 30 is obtained based on the propagation delay time. Meanwhile, the altitude of the present position is measured with an altimeter unit 37. The latitude and the longitude of the present position where the airborne equipment 30 of the aircraft and the like are arranged, are obtained based on the data.
