CONSTITUTION:In an interlock device for an overhead traveling vehicle which is driven along traveling rails by a battery, traveling rails R formed out of a member with insulation quality, plural signal lines 3, 4 which are arranged along the traveling rails R and where the control signals of the overhead traveling vehicle T are supplied respectively, a detector 6 which is installed on the overhead traveling vehicle T and detects the control signals supplied to the signal lines 3, 4, and a control part 7 which controls running stop of the overhead traveling vehicle T based on the signal detected by the detector 6.
