CONSTITUTION:An irradiator 3, equipped with an ultraviolet light source, is placed on an appropriate position around a number of containers 1 containing drinking water or juice. The short wavelength ultraviolet rays emitted from the ultraviolet light source are used to produce ozone, and a layer of ozonic atmosphere 4 is formed therewith, and the internal and the external faces of the container 1 are sterilized with the ultraviolet light and ozone.
