Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To enhance grip characteristic, especially the operational stability at the time of turning or the like without sacrificing productability, high-speed durability, or the like. CONSTITUTION:The belt reinforcing layer 20 of a low aspect ratio radial tire 10 is made up of a belt layer 22, a belt layer 24, and a belt auxiliary layer 26; and in the inside belt layer 22, discontinuous regions P1, P2 are formed directly below the ribs 30, 32 partitioned by circumferential grooves 28. The belt auxiliary layer 26 is constituted by spirally winding around a narrow-width strip 34 in the circumferential direction of the tire, and in the neighborhood of the discontinuous regions P1, P2, the strip 34 is overlapped as much as 1/2 of its width.
