Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To provide a controller for electric vehicle in which operational frequency of an overvoltage control circuit is reduced and regenerative current is suppressed by setting a limitation in the control of regenerative brake. CONSTITUTION:The controller 1 for electric vehicle 1 comprising a regenerative brake and an overvoltage control circuit for short-circuiting regenerated power through an overvoltage suppressing semiconductor element 6 and a resistor 5 to protect a stringing against overvoltage is further provided with a regenerative brake limiter 13 which limits the regenerative current within a predetermined range according to the operational frequency of the overvoltage control circuit or blocks regeneration of power to the stringing L if the operational frequency of the overvoltage control circuit is high at the time of regenerative brake. Consequently, operational frequency of an overvoltage suppressing circuit, which functions every time when the regenerative brake is operated, is lowered if the load absorbing the regenerated power is low. According to the invention, comfortableness is prevented from deteriorating upon missing of regenerative brake and the overvoltage suppressing semiconductor element and the resistor can be protected against breakdown due to overheating. |
