FACSIMILE EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To attain time designation of an optional weekday in one week and repetitive time designation in the unit of week by devising the facsimile equipment such that the operation designated by the operator is executed when a current time and a current weekday are coincident with a registered time and a registered weekday respectively through the time designation. CONSTITUTION:When the operator desires to send an original, e.g. by time designation, at first the operator sets an original to a read section 2 at first and allows the section 2 to read the original and obtained picture data are stored in a picture memory 8. Then the operator makes destination of the original and a timer reservation request to a control section 1 by using an entry section 3. That is, when the operator enters time and weekday information for the time designation, the information is registered in a memory 7. When a current time and a current weekday fed from a timer section 6 are coincident with the time and weekday registered in the memory 7, the control section 1 executes the operation designated by the operator by using the entry section 3. Thus, time designation for an optional weekday within a week is attained and repetitive time designation in the unit of weeks is attained.
