TRANSMISSION LINE PHASE FLUCTUATION ABSORBING CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To simplify the address operation by writing a reception signal into an elastic store synchronously with a reception clock and reading the signal from the elastic store synchronously with an in-equipment clock. CONSTITUTION:A write address and a read address for an elastic store 11 are generated respectively by a write address counter 12 counted by a reception clock and a read address counter 13 counted by an in-equipment clock. When the difference of addresses is closer than a prescribed difference generated from them, a positive stuff production command or a negative stuff production command is produced according to the address difference. The circuit is provided with an up-down counter 15 incrementing or decrementing its count in response to a positive stuff production command or a negative stuff production command having the same bit number and period as those of the read address counter 13 and an adder 16 adding the count of the read address counter 13 and the count of the up-down counter 15.
