Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To attain to make high density recording by constituting a binder in a coating type magnetic recording medium of a polyvinylacetoacetal resin and a resin having a specific glass transition point. CONSTITUTION:The coating type magnetic recording medium is constituted by applying a ferromagnetic powder such as gamma-Fe2O3 and the binder on a non- magnetic supporting body such as a polyester. In this case, the polyvinylacetoacetal resin having high dispersibility is used as a resin constituting the binder so as to uniformly disperse the magnetic powder into the magnetic layer even when the magnetic powder is a fine particle. And to secure adhesive strength, the polyester resin or the like having
