BRUSH PROCESSING METHOD FOR PICTURE

PURPOSE:To attain a processing for changing an effect along the locus of a cursor, and a picture correction by operating the brush processing of target picture data by applying brush processing data in line with a prescribed series along the locus. CONSTITUTION:An operator moves the cursor by continuing to press the button of a mouse, and samples a partial picture at a cursor position in a prescribed sampling cycle. As the result, four brush processing data can be obtained at each time t10-t20 of the prescribed cycle. That is, picture data indicating a sampling picture specified by the cursor (a), data designating the shape of a filter such as a circle, square, and star (b), data specifying the distribution shape of a synthetic ratio in the filter (c), and data specifying the size of the filter can be obtained. Thus, the brush processing data are applied in line with the prescribed series along the locus of the cursor on the target picture so that the brush processing for changing, the processing effect along the locus of the cursor can be operated.
