Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To stop an engine as soon as possible, and also prevent generation of engine trouble caused by compressed air supplied into a fuel oil system after start of operation by discharging fuel oil in staying in the engine by only simultaneously changeover of three way switch valves without using compressed air. CONSTITUTION:An engine emergency stop device is provided with first and second three way switch valves 4, 5 which are respectively set on the inlet and the outlet of a fuel supply pump, a first fuel pipe 11 for communicating the downstream side of the second three way switch valve 5 with the first three way switch valve 4, a second fuel pipe 12 for communicating the second three way switch valve 5 with an auxiliary fuel tank 7, and a controller for stopping an engine as soon as possibly by switching simultaneously both three way switch valves 4, 5 according to the emergency stop signal of the engine, and discharging fuel oil staying in the engine.
