Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To obtain optimal transition characteristics relative to exhaust gas by obtaining a transition compensation signal based on a compensation signal of a wall-film-quantity signal and a compensation signal of two dividing factors for acceleration and deceleration so as to compensate a fuel injection signal. CONSTITUTION: An engine load signal and a rotation speed signal inputted to terminals 25, 26 are inputted to a map value memory 31 of wall-film-quantity, and two map value memories 32, 33 outputting dividing factors related to load and speed according to acceleration and deceleration. The dividing factor read out from each memory 32, 33 is compensated and added to a multiplier 3 8 via a switch 37 switched by acceleration or deceleration. The value difference between prior and after wall-film-quantities calculated by a calculator 40 based on the output from the memory 31 is multiplied as a compensated ΔW in accordance with an engine temperature based factor from the terminal 27 and a signal related to the time during engine brake action from the terminal 28. A transition compensation signal UK is obtained and a fuel injection valve is controlled based on the multiplying result.
