Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a vibration damping material, composed of polybutylene naphthalenedicarboxylate and useful as parts in acoustic apparatuses such as diaphragms of speakers and parts in household appliances such as washing machines. CONSTITUTION:The objective material is composed of a polyester (preferably a polyester composed of >=95mol% polybutylene naphthalenedicarboxylate composed of polybutylene 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylate) containing preferably naphthalene-2,6-dicarboxylic acid as a main acid component and 1,4-butanediol as a main glycol component.
