Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To enlarge the applications of molten converter slag. CONSTITUTION:A gas blasting nozzle 3 is provided just below the outflow port of a tundish 1 of converter slag. The concentration of oxygen contained in blasting gas is increased by adding oxygen supplied from an oxygen pipeline 2-2 to the blasting gas supplied from the pipeline 2-1 of pressurized gas. This blasting gas containing oxygen of high concentration is blown to the falling flow 6 of molten converter slag from the blasting nozzle 3 for granulation. Therefore, unslagged lime is thoroughly eliminated in the granulation process of molten converter slag. Converter slag grains are applied to shot blasting material for modifying surface of steel and also utilized for base material of a subgrade.
