INSPECTION DEVICE FOR YARN WINDING BOBBIN

PURPOSE:To provide a device capable of detecting fluffs existing on the edge surface of a circular cylindrical yarn winding bobbin. CONSTITUTION:There is provided a rotary device to rotate a yarn winding bobbin 5 with the axis as its center. One ends 2b of a optical fiber bundle 2 consisting of plural number of optical fibers are collected, and are arranged in front of a light source 1 in a prescribed position, and the other ends 2a are formed in a linear shape, and are arranged above the edge surface of the yarn winding bobbin 5. Light from the light source 1 is radiated on a straight line facing toward the outer periphery from the edge surface center of the yarn winding bobbin 5. There is provided an image pick up camera 3 to pick up an image of an irradiation part from the slightly more upper oblique direction than a plane containing the edge surface of the yarn winding bobbin 5 as well as from the direction approximately orthogonal to the linear irradiation part on the edge surface of the yarn winding bobbin 5. There is provided a processing device to process an image data picked up by the image pick up camera 3 as well as to detect fluffs.
