EXTERNAL CHARACTER PATTERN CONTROL METHOD FOR SPOOL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To provide the method which has characteristic external character pattern files, user by user, and automatically switches and uses them at the timing of external character generation as to a method which outputs external characters through the spool system. CONSTITUTION:This external pattern control method consists of an input device 1 for inputting external character patterns and commands, an external character pattern files 2 by users which input external character patterns characteristic to the users from the input device 1 and store them at predetermined positions given specific names, a user job 3 which sends an output request, an output queue 4 stored with the output request, an interface 5 which has a function for selecting the corresponding external character file, an output driver 6 which controls an output device 7, and the output device 7.
