Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide an optical integrated circuit for compensating optical loss, where there is normally no loss fluctuation between an optical input and output without relying on the passing route of light. CONSTITUTION:The circuit is constituted of an optical circuit which forms the optical signal route including optical switch circuits 41 or optical waveguide circuits 42 which connect plural optical input lines 43 with optical output lines 44 and of optical amplifiers 45 compensating the loss of an optical signal which passes through the optical circuit. The optical amplifiers 45 compensate the loss of the optical signal in accordance with result calculated by a part 461 which calculates loss due to the route of the optical signal passing through the optical circuit of a controller 46.
