METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR TREATING STEEL SLAG

PURPOSE:To provide a method and equipment for treating steel slag which continuously treats the steel slag in a lump and can safely and quickly execute with a small number of operations without any pollution. CONSTITUTION:In the method for treating the steel slag, a part of the converter slag is carried to the prescribed converter slag solidifying yard 16 and crushed, cut and cooled by a shifting type steel slag treating device 17, dust collect cooling device 19, etc., and the converter slag stuck to a removed slag vessel 28 is charged into a turn-over grizzly 21 by using a stuck removed slag discharging mechanism 12, and thereafter, collapsed and treated by a large lump collapsing mechanism 22. The molten steel slag and the molten iron pre-treated slag are charged into the turn-over grizzly 21 after passing through the dust collecting/cooling device 19 or not through this device, and the same treatment as the above is executed. The equipment for treating the steel slag has a vibrating type chute 14, the stuck slag discharging device 12, shifting type steel slag treating device 17, turn-over grizzly 21, large lump collapsing mechanism 22, dust collect cooling device 19, a conveyor 61 for carrying, etc., for executing the above treatment.
