CONSTITUTION:This PLU file retrieving device is provided with a bar code input means for reading out bar code information, a PLU file for storing the code of bar code information based upon a source code and that based upon a self-company code, a judging means for judging whether inputted bar code information is a source code or a self-company code, and a retrieving means for retrieving the code of the bar code information concerned from the PLU file based upon a judged result.
