Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition composed mainly of an esterified product obtained by the reaction of a chlorinated polyolefin added with maleic anhydride and a specific unsaturated alcohol, having excellent solubility in solvent, suitable as a paint, and having excellent adhesivity to a molded polyolefin. CONSTITUTION:(A) A chlorinated polyolefin added with maleic anhydride and containing preferably 5-15% maleic anhydride unit is made to react with (B) the compound of formula I [R is H or CH3; R is group of formula II-IV (n is 1-8) or -NH-CH2-] (e.g. 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate), e.g. in a solvent, in the presence of a polymerization inhibitor (e.g. hydroquinone monomethyl ehter) in the presence or absence of an esterifying catalyst (e.g. p-toluenesulfonic acid) at 50-80 deg.C, and the resultant resin wherein preferably 25-100% of the carobyl group of the maleic anhydride is esterified is used as a main component of the objective composition.
