TIME SWITCH CAPABLE OF VARYING ON/OFF TIME

PURPOSE:To realize miniaturization and stable operation while reducing the number of part items by forming two guide surfaces having different outer diameters and cam projections for connecting the guide surfaces to each other in a periphery of a vertically movable cam. CONSTITUTION:A cam 8 is rotatably supported coaxially with an on/off time setting spindle 10, and is kept to be energized in the predetermined direction by a coil spring 11 fitted to the spindle 10. The spring 11 constitutes a means for urging the cam 8 in the axial direction. Three guide surfaces 12, 13, 14 are formed integrally with the cam 8 at the circumferential surface. A triangular cam projection and a parallelogrammic cam projection are integrally formed on diametrical lines of the respective guide surfaces 12, 14. Two chevron-shaped lift cams are formed integrally on the same arc on the diametrical line at an axial bottom surface as the axial surface of the cam 8. Consequently, it is possible to dispense with a plurality of levers and the like inside a case 2, thus reducing the number of parts and realizing miniaturization and stable operation.
