DOCUMENT GENERATING/EDITING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To effectively utilize a space by adopting a floppy disk driving device(FDD) being less than one inch, in the document generating/editing device main body on which a one-inch FDD is loaded. CONSTITUTION:The device is structure so that an LCD 2 being a display device for displaying an input from a keyboard 1 is integrated into a case 3 on the openable/closeable LCD 2, and its front is covered with an LCD case 4. An FDD 15 being less than one inch for recording inputted and edited information is placed between a main body upper case 6 and a main body lower case 7. In the lower part of the main body lower case 7, a control substrate for controlling the whole device is placed. Also, a floppy disk containing part of size of height being above one inch is provided, and in this containing part, a 1/2 inch FDD 15 is superposed vertically, and two sets of FDDs 15 are loaded. In such a way, a double FDD can be realized, and also, a fixed disk device and an external battery, etc., can be loaded by utilizing its containing space.
