Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To automatically perform the work of a construction site by storing a travelling path stipulated beforehand, travelling while the travelling path is corrected by the information by the distance sensor and measuring the travelling distance. CONSTITUTION:A controller 7 receives a signal transmitted from a distance sensor 9 to store a travelling path stipulated beforehand, and measure the distance with an obstacle, corrects the stored travelling path, and controls to travel on the travelling path stored by a caterpillar 2. A contact sensor 9 as the distance sensor 9, when it contacts with the obstacle, that is, detects that the distance is 0, transmits the signal. A counter 10 as a distance measuring means is equipped with a gear 10a to gear with an auxiliary wheel 4, counts the number of the rotations of the auxiliary wheel 4 and measures the travelling distance of the caterpillar 2. When a motor 6 is started, a driving wheel 3 is rotated through a driving device 5, and an engaging caterpillar starts to travel. The auxiliary wheel 4 is rotated accompanying the travelling of the caterpillar 2, and the counter 10 counts and displays the travelling distance accompanying the rotation of the auxiliary wheel 4.
