Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve the visual response speed and to reduce the manufacturing cost by providing a liquid crystal enclosed body consisting of the mixture of a polymer and a liquid crystal material having a magnetic anisotropy on the rear surface of a transparent substrate and providing a magnetic recording medium on the rear surface of the enclosed body. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal enclosed body 2 made of the liquid crystal material having the magnetic anisotropy that is enclosed in a polymer having a refractive index fitting to the refractive index in the longitudinal direction of the material is provided on the rear surface of the transparent substrate 1 and a magnetic recording medium 3 is provided on the rear surface of the enclosed body. On a card C having such a constitution, the surface of the magnetic recording medium 3 is brought into contact with the upper surface of an erasing magnetic head EH and a recording magnetic head WH, in the above stated sequence and by, moving relatively against each head, the recording of information can be performed on the magnetic recording medium 3. Thus, a display corresponding to the content of the magnetic recording medium is performed on the surface of the card C and the visual response speed can be improved and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
