Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a compact radiation detector for detecting deposit on an inner surface, which can readily measure even the thickness of the deposit on the inner surface of a pipe or the like arranged in a narrow place. CONSTITUTION:A detecting part 2, which detects the radiation dose transmitted through an object to be measured as an electrical signal, and an amplifier 4, which amplifies the detected signal from the detecting part 2 and sends out the output signal to the outside, are independently formed, respectively, and connected with a coaxial cable 6. The detecting part 2 is formed by combining a cesium iodide crystal 8 surrounded with a light reflecting material 7 and a photodiode 9.
