Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To reduce the time of a single tap process and prevent overflowing from a ladle by monitoring the amount of received molten metal represented by a signal and differential value of received molten metal in terms of timing. CONSTITUTION:A rear-side slanting directive signal output section 26 enters a rear-side slanting directive signal 11 in an arc furnace 1 under the condition when a weight reach signal 17a is input before a differential value failure signal 23a is input or the signal 23a enters before a signal 17a is input and then a time reach signal 23 is input. A molten steel discharge control device 15 for an arc furnace 1 comprises a front-side slanting directive signal output section 16, a received molten metal quantity detection section 8, a received molten metal quantity monitor section 17, a timer section 18, a data memory section 19, a received molten metal quantity terminal change and the rear-side slanting directive output section 26. Therefore, even when noise interferes a wireless signal 7C or a molten steel signal 10a, this construction makes it possible to avoid the generation of disadvantages, such as excessive time for a single molten metal discharge process and its overflowing 6 from a ladle 4.
