TONER FEEDER

PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive toner supply device capable of preventing the rise of an air pressure generated by an adjustment work of supplying toner without necessitating a vent hole. CONSTITUTION: A toner supply adjusting roller 3 of a developing cartridge 1 for electrophotographic printing is formed to an asymmetrical shape in the length direction. The toner is distributed by the roller 3 in two ways between a developing chamber 13 and a supply chamber 19 as the roller 3 is rotated, and the balanced level is maintained between the developing chamber and the supply chamber. The volumetric capacity of the developing chamber is decreased/increased by the asymmetrical roller 3 at the same time, and an open path to the supply chamber along the flat surface 35 is offered by the roller 3, then, the air pressure accumulation in the developing chamber is prevented. Thus, it is unnecessary to arrange the vent hole between the developing chamber and the supply chamber.
