CHIP REMOVAL VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To enable a vehicle to attract a metal chip, and ensure the removal thereof to both sides of the vehicle by attracting the metal chip from a travel road, and keeping the metal chip adhered to a non-magnetic belt for the shift and fall thereof to the outside of the travel road during the travel of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle pass on metal chips 36 and so forth scattered on a travel road, the metal chips 36 and so forth adhere to the surface of a non-magnetic belt 34, due to the attracting force of a magnet 35. In this case, the non-magnetic belt 34 is rotated and shifted on the rotational drive force of a drive motor 31, thereby shifting the metal chips 36 and so forth sequentially. When the metal chips 36 and so forth pass a position P corresponding to the end of the magnet 35, the attracting force thereof is gradually weakened. As a result, the metal chips 36 and so forth fall near a point Q outside the travel road. According to the aforesaid construction, the metal chips 36 and so forth are not piled, or not scattered while scrubbing a floor. Also, the erroneous detection of a proximity sensor 23 can be easily avoided.
