Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain an aq. dispersion excellent in coating stability, adhesiveness and water resistance by compounding a specific polyester resin, a water-sol. org. compd., and water in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:A polyester resin (A) comprising a polycarboxylic acid component consisting of 40-100mol% arom. and/or alicyclic dicarboxylic acid and 60-0mol% aliph. dicarboxylic acid and a polyol component consisting of a 2-8C aliph. glycol and/or a 6-12C alicyclic glycol, contg. 5-400 equivalents of a basic metal sulfonate and/or a basic phosphorus compd. per g of the resin, and having a mol.wt. of 1000-10000 and a softening point of 40-200 deg.C, a compd. (B) of the formula (wherein R and R are each 1-10C alkyl, cycloalkyl, or aryl; and n is 1-3) and water (C) are compounded in the wt. ratios of A/B/C and B/(B+C) of 10-70/2-40/20-88 (provided A+B+C is 100) and 0.02-0.66, respectively, giving an aq. dispersion.
