METHOD FOR TAKING OUT CLOSED AREA FROM DRAWING DATA

PURPOSE:To take out an intended closed area without all line element instruction by selecting one of branching line elements at the branching point of the line elements constituting the closed area by the instruction of a user input part. CONSTITUTION:By referring to one point instruction information to the inside of the closed area and line element information stored in a graphic memory 105, the first line element constituting the closed area is decided and stored in the graphic memory 105. By referring to this line element information, the next line element candidates connected with the line elements are selected, and among these the next line element is decided. When all the line elements receive this process, and the closed area including a hole part is complete, this process is finished. If not, these processes are repeated.
