Zusammenfassung:	NEW MATERIAL:Neophentyl alpha-cyanoacrylate of formula I. USE:Useful as an instantaneous adhesive agent having excellent bond properties, whitening resistance and heat resistance. PREPARATION:Neophentyl alpha-cyanoacetate of formula II is synthesized and the synthesized cyanoacetate is subjected to dehydration condensation with formaldehyde or paraformaldehyde in the presence of a base catalyst to produce a polycondensate. The resultant polycondensate is then depolymerized with heating, thus obtaining the objective compound of formula I. The compound of formula I is solid at room temperatures and a stabilizer is recommendably added thereto for stable storage thereof.
