AIR CUSHION SHIP WITH REMOVABLE SEAL MEMBER

PURPOSE:To facilitate mounting a seal member by mounting a total non-rigid seal on a support frame located independently from a ship hull, and effecting mounting in a state that the support frame is slid over the slip full by means of rollers and a guide rail. CONSTITUTION:A bow seal member 1 comprises a horizontal support frame 2 and a non-rigid seal 1' suspended therefrom. A plurality of rollers 3 are disposed on both sides of the support frame 2, and a fixing plate 4 is installed on the front side. Meanwhile, guide rails 8 are installed to a bow part and on both sides of a ship full, and a flexible side seal, not shown, is attached below the guide rail 8. The bow seal member 1 slides in such a manner as rolling the rollers 3 over the guide rail 8 and keeps a pressed-in state until the fixing plate 4 is brought into contact with the ship hull, a fixing plate 4 being fixed by means of a bolt 7.
