DISPOSABLE DRIER FOR SHOES

PURPOSE:To dry a shoe easily by a method wherein a drier consists of a water absorbing sheet made of a water absorbent resin of specific water absorbing multiplication, a heat generator and an elastic body, and the water absorbing sheet is pressed against an inner surface of the shoe by the elastic body and absorbs water contained in the shoe under heat generation by the heat generator. CONSTITUTION:A drier consists of water absorbing sheet 1, a heat generator 3 and an elastic body 2, and the water absorbing sheet 1 is pressed against an inner surface of a shoe by the elastic body 2 and absorbs water contained in the shoe under heat generation by the heat generator 3, whereby the shoe is dried. The water absorbing sheet 1 is made of a water permissible material employed on a surface 1a which contacts with a wet shoe to be dried, a water unpermissible or a water permeable material employed on the other surface 1b, and a water absorbent resin 1c sandwiched between materials on the surfaces 1a and 1c. The water permeable material is preferably disposable cheap paper, unwoven cloth or cloth. The water impermeable material is preferably a plastic sheet, and more preferably a plastic film made of a cheap and wide-used resin. It is preferable that the water absorbent resin 1c has a water absorbing multiplication of 30 to 2000 times of its own weight, and for example, methacrylic acid polymer or its crosslinked material are suitable. By this, only by inserting the drier into the shoe and leaving there, the shoe can be dried.
