Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To stably carry a tie plate by providing a fluid removing device formed of a side plate curved along a roller outer circumferential surface, and a flat bottom plate laid along a tie plate surface, and a back plate, close to the roller outer circumferential surface and the tie plate surface, on the tie plate advancing side of the roller. CONSTITUTION:A fluid removing device 1 is formed of a square side plate 2 having a curved surface having a determined radius of curvature P, a flat square bottom plate 3 and a back plate 4. In the fluid removing device 1, the side plate 2 is close to the outer circumferential surface of a roller 5 so that the clearance between them is a determined value, and the bottom plate 3 is close to the surface of an advancing thin steel plate P so that the clearance between the both is a determined value. The side plate 2 and the bottom plate 3 are fixed to a support part 10 through respective fixing metal fittings 8, 9. A fluid drawn by the thin steel plate P, the rotation of the roller 5, and the carriage of the thin steel plate P according to this rotation is separated from the thin steel plate P and the surface of the roller 5 on the upper stream side from the contact position between the thin steel plate P and the roller 5, and removed in both lateral end directions of the roller 5 to prevent the entrainment of the fluid.
