Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To offer an effective and proper fiber reinforced concrete at a low cost which can be used as a substitution for asbestos cement by using carpet waste chips as the fiber reinforcing material produced in the process of cutting and finishing the surface and edges of a woven carpet. CONSTITUTION:Carpet waste chips produced in the process of cutting the top of piles of a carpet are collected and kneaded in air as in a powdery state with cement, aggregate and admixture. water is slowly added to this mixture and kneaded with a kneading mixer. Then, for example, the kneaded material is extruded through a molding die into a specified shape by using an extruder and cut into proper length to obtain a concrete molded body. Thereby, carpet waste chips are effectively reused and the cost of fiber reinforcing material can be kept low.
