Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To readily make a chip type aluminum electrolytic capacitor having a large amount of capacitance and multiple elements by a method wherein even pieces of aluminum electrolytic capacitor body are accommodated inside a case made of resins so that an anode lead terminal and a cathode lead terminal may be positioned at both ends of the case made of resins. CONSTITUTION:Aluminum electrolytic capacitor bodies 11 and 12 comprise cylindrical metallic cases 13 and 13 which are made of aluminum with bottoms and in which anode and cathode foils are wound together with a separator and capacitor elements impregnated with an electrolyte are received, anode lead terminals 15a and 16a and cathode lead terminals 15b and 16b connecting to the capacitor elements are respectively introduced from each opening part at one end of these metallic cases 13 and 14. 2 pieces of aluminum electrolytic capacitor bodies 11 and 12 are received inside a case 17 made of resins so that bottom parts 13a and 14a of the metallic cases 13 and 14 may be opposed to each other at a gap 18, and the anode lead terminals 15a and 16a and the cathode lead terminals 15b and 16b are positioned at both ends of the case 17 made of resins.
