Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To make such a steering angle as high in reliability detectable in a simple structure by installing a reference position signal outputting means, outputting a reference position signal in response to a detected part at a time when a transfer shaft is situated in a reference position, at the side of a car body. CONSTITUTION:A traveling contact part 37a comes into contact with a stationary contact part 32a as it is pushed to the side of an inward opening end of a holder 31 by dint of spring force of a pressing spring 39 when a slider 35 is fitted in a recess fit groove 30, and at this time, an interval between two lead wires 40 and 40 being connected to each outward end between the stationary contact part 32 and a spring bearing 34 is conducted via the stationary contact member 32, a traveling contact member 37, the pressing spring 39 and the spring bearing 34. Then, a setting position of a rectilinear position detecting sensor 24, a forming position of the recess fit groove 30 of a crankshaft 2 and a rectilinear traveling position of front wheels 5, 5 are all set up so as to produce a fitted state at time of zero in a steering angle of a steering wheel 6. Accordingly, a signal being produced by conduction between the lead wires 40 and 40 at time of zero in the steering angle is inputted into a control unit 23 as a rectilinear position signal.
