Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain an inner pipe which is light-weight and has high modulus and excellent impact resistance, by constituting the inside with a light metal or steel pipe, pressing the pipe into a CFRP pipe before surface treatment of the pipe, adhering them, and preparing a very thin rewound layer of fibers on the mechanically treated surface. CONSTITUTION:The outer diameter of the smaller diameter part 13a of a metal pipe is set to be the same as or a little larger than the inner diameter of a CFRP pipe 12 and an adhesive 14 is applied on the contacted surface of a pipe 13, where a larger diameter part is monolithically formed at one end of the smaller diameter part with a CFRP pipe 12. The former pipe is then pressed into the latter pipe. The adhesive is thereafter cured by heating and both pipes thereby become in a body. The outer surface of the CFRP pipe 12 is ground to become a litter smaller than the diameter of the metal pipe 13 and non- twisted bundles of resin-impregnated carbon fibers are wound thereon to a specified fiber direction and then cured by heating. The outer surface thus obtained is then ground to the level of the surface of the pipe 13 as a reference level to improve the surface roughness and the accuracy of the diameter.
