Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a detergent for easily removing a protective film from the surface of an automobile body even when it is large and is stored for a long time by mixing a water-soluble amine with a polyalcohol derivative or an alcohol, a sequestering agent and water. CONSTITUTION:A detergent comprising a water-soluble amine (A), a polyalcohol derivative or an alcohol (B), a sequestering agent (C) and water (D). This detergent is used by diluting it with water 2 to 20-fold and can exhibit satisfactory performance when diluted if it has the following composition in an undiluted state: a component A content of 10-30pts.wt., a component B content of 3-15pts. wt., a component C content of 1-10pts.wt., a component D content of 45-86pts.wt. and an anionic surfactant content of 0.1-5pts.wt.
