CORRECTION DEVICE FOR HORIZONTAL POSITION OF SCREEN

PURPOSE:To keep a horizontal position on a screen constant by using a voltage generator specifying the horizontal position on the screen and a phase shifter shifting the phase of a horizontal synchronizing signal through the use of the voltage generated from the voltage generator. CONSTITUTION:When an input signal is selected, the information is transferred to a voltage generator 19 and a preset voltage 22 is generated. A phase shift quantity of a phase shifter is controlled by the voltage 22 and a horizontal synchronizing signal 23 whose phase is shifted is generated. A horizontal deflection circuit 7 is driven by the horizontal synchronizing signal 23. The phase shift quantity is coincident with the delay depending on the circuit characteristic for a luminance signal and chrominance carrier and the horizontal position on the screen is kept constant independently of the input system of the signal.
