AUTOMATIC TOOL ROUTE CREATING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To automatically create a tool route for machining a ring type cutting work face and a projecting cutting work face continuous with the former face by creating a ring type route, drawing a center line between two corresponding sides of the projecting type cutting work face to form a projecting route and connecting the projected route to the ring type route. CONSTITUTION:This automatic tool route creating device 30 is a computer itself in the viewpoint of hardware and is provided with a microprocessor 31, a clock signal generating circuit 32, a ROM 33, a RAM 34, a hard disk 35, and interfaces 36, 37. In this constitution, the ring type route is created and then the center line between the two opposed sides of the projecting cutting work face is drawn to form the projecting route continued to the ring type route. Thus, the tool route for machining the ring type cutting work face and the projecting cutting work face continued to the former working face can be automatically created.
