Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To perform high accuracy positioning and to improve working accuracy by producing a positioning member freely movably forwards and backwards at a position opposite to the arranged end of an end locator of a work table. CONSTITUTION:A carried-in plate material is moved by a loader on a work table 6, one end is abutted on a locator 12 and a long side (m) is abutted on each work holder 11. the long side (m) is abutted on a positioning member 13, too. Since the long side is abutted on the positioning member 13 in this way, lengthwise deflection at a part far from an end locator 12 of the plate material is restrained. Accordingly, positioning can be performed with high accuracy and punching is improved in accuracy. A completion of positioning, the work holder 11 is closed and the plate material W is clamped, then, the end locator 12 is sunk and the positioning member 13 is ristricted.Under this state, the plate material W is moved by the work holder 11 to be punched.
