MULTI-CONDUCTOR TRANSMISSION LINE

PURPOSE:To facilitate stretching work and to prevent application of tensile force of cross wire onto a steel tower by employing a short conductor as the cross wire laid, while sagging, along two ground side conductors out of a plurality of conductors and the plurality of conductors. CONSTITUTION:A multi-conductor transmission line 10 comprises a plurality of conductors 12 and a conductive cross wire 14 laid, while sagging, along two ground side conductors 12A out of the plurality of conductors 12. The cross wire 14 comprises a short conductor 14A anchored, while sagging, between two adjacent conductor spacers 18 and anchor clamps 20 connected with the two conductor spacers 18 are compression jointed to the opposite ends of the short conductor 14A. According to the arrangement, the cross wire 14 provides a corona reduction effect equivalent to the case where a single cross wire is laid between two ground side conductors 12A comprising a plurality of short conductors 14A connected between two adjacent conductor spacers 18.
