COMPACT VTR

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of a hiding member for hiding operating buttons and to achieve a low cost and then to improve the whole aesthetic appearance by disposing the operating buttons which are usually not very often used in a part to be hidden by a power source supply unit of a tuner. CONSTITUTION:A battery 20 is fitted when a video deck 10 and the TV tuner 30 are combined to be used. In this case, the operating buttons 32a-32d which are usually not very often used, such as a button for setting time, etc., are disposed on an upper surface of a recessed part 31 for taking out a battery, which is the part to be hidden by the bottom surface 20f of the battery 20 for the tuner 30. Consequently, it is not necessary to hide the buttons 32a-32d with the hiding member such as a lid body, etc. By this method, the low cost can be achieved, and when the deck 10, the battery 20 and the tuner 30 are combined, the whole appearance is superior in design, and the battery can easily be changed through the recessed part 31d.
