OPTICAL HEAD FITTING JIG

PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for attachment and detachment by opening one end of one upper rail of the optical head fitting jig. CONSTITUTION:An optical head 1 presses a lower carriage roller 11A against a rail 21A of the fitting jig and an upper carriage roller 11B against a rail 21C at a position 11 to mount the lower carriage roller 11B on a rail 21B. The lower carriage roller 11A and upper carriage roller 11B of the optical head 1 are moved to the fixation position of the optical head 1 while pressed against the rails 21A and 21B of the fitting jig. At this time, the preload carriage roller 26 of a pre-load arm 25 is pressed by the rail 28 whose one end is open to determine the position of the optical head 1 about the rails 21A, 21B, 21C, and 28. Consequently, the fitting does not require a long time.
